About You Liang

You Liang is a Singapore-born, Tokyo-based DJ and producer known for creating melody-driven EDM with emotional hooks, strong vocal presence, and genre versatility. Whether it’s house, trance, or hardstyle, their tracks are crafted for both radio and the immersive festival stage.

Beginning their musical journey in 2014 as a vocalist and drummer at Keio University, You Liang developed a strong sense of musicality before moving into electronic production. Their early releases leaned toward dancepop with house influences, gradually evolving into a melody-focused, genre-fluid style shaped by both songwriting sensibilities and the demands of Tokyo’s diverse club scene.

Since 2023, they’ve performed over 500 shows across Asia and Europe, holding residencies at Tokyo’s ZeroTokyo and WOMB, and playing internationally in Korea and Spain, with upcoming sets at ADE 2025 (Blend XL) and It’s The Ship Singapore, alongside Nicky Romero. In 2025, they were also selected as a Pete Tong DJ Academy Future Talent, presented live at IMS Ibiza.

Their discography spans respected labels such as Revealed Recordings, Black Hole Recordings, and Blanco y Negro, with chart success on Beatport, Traxsource, and iTunes, alongside multiple editorial placements on major DSPs including Spotify and Apple Music, as well as DJ support from Don Diablo, Hel:sløwed, and Chester Young.

Beyond the international circuit, You Liang has also performed on some of Japan’s biggest domestic stages. Notably, they appeared at the Keio University Mita Festival in 2023 and 2024 — one of Tokyo’s largest student-run events, which continues to draw over 200,000 visitors across three days.
